Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich  has been charged with very big fines for the following: Obama had a former U.S. Senate Seat, for which he could not attend to because he is now president-elect. Blagojevich tried to sell the seat to the highest bidder for B. wanted to get some money off of the empty seat.
"I will pay you $500,000 for the Senate seat, that's black and white," he said. "It's black, dark black. 'Appoint me and I'll get a fundraiser together and I guarantee you you'll get $1 million' -- that's bribery." The FBI tapped into B.'s phone line to hear him talking, and see if he was up to something. That's when the FBI figured out B. was trying to bribe someone to take the senate seat, as long as he would get payed 1 million dollars. The governor is facing high charges, many years in jail, and Obama is appalled and encourages Blagojevich to resign because enough people are already ticked off at the governor. Even if Blagojevich DOESN'T resign, he'll probably get impeached by the government (to be kicked off of being in his position), and he will not be governor anymore. This will cost very much for Illinois to start a special election just for Illinois. Illinois now currently holds 1ST PLACE for Most Arrested Governors......
